Trae tha Truth Assists An Elderly Woman After She Was Robbed Outside Of Her Home

Trae Tha Truth, a Houston rapper well known for his activism, took action after seeing a video of an elderly woman being robbed outside her residence. Yesterday (April 4), Trae posted to his Instagram account surveillance footage reposted from Houston television news station KHOU 11.

How It All Started

The video shows an elderly Black woman carrying her purse and a few other items as she approaches the doorway of her home. Moreover, before she can reach her front door, she notices a black car coming to a screeching halt. 

A young Black man in a mask and hooded jacket jumped out of the vehicle. He then pointed a gun at the woman and tried to rob her. Therefore, as the woman screams, she throws down her possessions and pleads with the man for her life.

Upset by what he saw, Trae posted a video to his page about “principles and morals.”

“You don’t prey on the weak,” Trae explained. “The moves some of these cats Making Ain’t Solid Or Street, Never Harm Women Kids, Elders… That Could Be One Our Parents or Grandparents smh… Imma Make It My Bizness To Go Find Her Today.”

Trae Tha Truth Was Also Successful In Locating The Woman

Additionally, due to Trae’s use of his platform to speak out and spread awareness about the troubling incident, he could locate the woman. Also, within a few hours of his original posting, Trae was seen standing in front of the woman’s home, embracing her in the photo captioned,

“I Made It To Her….. I Made Sure She know That Real Ones Dont Stand By Or Approve What Happen To Her… And Also Blessed Her. Protect Our Own. Told Her She Should Create Her Own personal Go fund because a lot of people want to help her. “

After all, Trae made it his duty to protect her identity by covering her face in the photograph.

Trae Tha Truth Hospitalized Following Nasty Car Crash

Widely known Houston rapper, Trae Tha Truth, was in a car accident on Jan 18, which left him hospitalized. Mr. Truth took to Instagram to share the news. Coupled with a picture of his busted-up car. he captioned,

“One Thing After Another… The Devil Couldn’t Stop Me If He Wanted To… And The Evil Certain people Who Tried To Pray Evil on Me.. Tell em Imma Look At That Shit and Walk It Down… Out The Hospital Back To It.. #GodSent”.

Trae The Truth’s Latest Community Project 

The “I’m On” rapper is also known for his humanitarian efforts outside of music. He even has a day, June 22,  dedicated to him known as “Trae Day” in Houston. He was on the news several times for his work in disaster relief after Hurricane Harvey in 2017. This natural disaster destroyed parts of Texas and Louisiana.

His latest project is the 4 Corners Boxing Gym to train the inner-city youth. The grand opening took place on January 15th. The facility can be found on 4309 Irvington Blvd and is open weekdays from 11 am to 8 pm and at weekends from 11 am to 2 pm.

Trae was at the forefront, championing for justice for George Floyd. Floyd was the victim of police brutality at the hands of police officer, Derek Chauvin. Floyd’s death was the catalyst that sparked nationwide protests for the Black Lives Matter movement. The Houston native is also the founder of a nonprofit organization known as The Relief Gang. 

In response to his recovery, FM Hip Hop sends well wishes to Houston’s gem.

Trae tha Truth to Open an Ice Cream Shop That Hires Adults with Special Needs

Trae Tha Truth is opening an ice cream shop in Katy, TX that will hire people with special needs

Trae Tha Truth, a Houston-based rapper, is opening a branch of the Dallas-based ice cream shop Howdy Homemade with the franchise owner. Last week, He announced the partnership and opening on Instagram. He stated that the shop will be open to the public on July 22. “We hope to change the way the world looks at everyone,” he said in the caption. This is referring to the original Dallas shop making an effort to employ people with disabilities and special needs. Additionally, Trae Tha Truth’s son, D’Neeko has unique special needs that Trae is vocal about supporting and uplifting.

“The Mission Is To Inspire And Bless Others With Our Blessings!!”

Tom Landis is the founder of the original Howdy Homemade in Dallas and has plans in the works to extend into other states. Landis stated that his goal for the ice cream shop franchise is to hire more people with intellectual disabilities. He emphasized the importance of creating more work opportunities in Texas and other states for individuals with special needs. Overall, it’s clear that the goal of the shop is to uplift and support the disabled community, which is much needed.
