Watch: Tata Mami – “Drinking” Music Video is Turning Heads

The most fabulous holiday for lovers around the world is Valentine’s day. Since V-Day is right around the corner, The first lady of Illest Records (Tata Mami) delivered a very sexy and classy music video for all lovers out there. “Drinking,” which is off her new album “Baby Making Season,” was produced by Mike Blayz.  

We all know that Tata Mami (@itz.tata.mami) is no stranger to making elegant content. So it was no surprise that she once again teamed up with Illy Rock (@directorillyrock) to give us, quite frankly, the sexiest music video on VEVO. 

Who is Tata Mami?

The Toledo, Ohio native, is part of the new wave of talented femcees that continue to push the culture forward with her music, charisma, and confidence. Her sound is a mixture of a few midwest and southern cities near and dear to her heart. From Toledo, Columbus, Charlotte, Raleigh, she lived in Los Angeles for two years until her apartment burned down. 

In spite of that tragic event, Tata Mami rose like a phoenix and moved to Phoenix, Arizona, (no pun intended) to re-record and started cooking new music. 

Her uncanny ability to absorb the moment and trust her intuition led her to open up for Lightskin Keisha in Phoenix, as well as got her song placed on UMC’s original series “For the Love of Jason” Season 1.
