Tessica Brown’s “Gorilla Glue” Nightmare Has Come To an End

Tessica Brown has had a long journey battling her struggle to remove what she thought was hair glue from her scalp. After running out of “Got2be” glue spray, Tessica looked for an alternative to keep her hair in place. She decided to use heavy duty “Gorilla Glue” spray. She srealized that it was a terrible idea as “Gorilla Glue’ is used to bond surfaces such as wood, glass, stone, metal, and ceramic, and NOT HAIR. Her hair had been locked in place for what felt like a century, a long 6 weeks. She even started a GoFundMe page of $1,500 to help with paying for a wig since she predicted she’d have lots of injuries from this heavy duty glue. She ended up raising $20,000.

Tessica tried her best to find answers on how to remove this tough glue from her hair. She took matter into her own hands and posted videos and pictures of her hair on social media where people gave her numerous suggestions. Such applying numerous oils to her hair and using acetone. The pic below shows the end results of her trying all of these suggestions from social media.

Finally, with the help of Beverly Hills  Dr. Michael Obeng, he was able to successfully remove the Gorilla Glue from Tessica’s hair. This procedure took about 4 hours long and cost $13,000; but Dr. Obeng did not charge Tessica and removed it as a favor.  TMZ was allowed to film the entire process from start to finish in video below.

Tessica is now Gorilla Glue free and hopefully this was a lesson learned to her and anyone who’s been watching her journey.
