The Carters buys a Million dollar Mansion!
The Carters are now official residents of New Orleans after purchasing a lavish mansion for $2.6 million. Their new home, La Casa de Castile, is located in the Garden District and was previously the Westminister Presbyerian Church and later served as a ballet school. According to Zillow [HERE], the Spanish Baroque mansion was built in 1925 and features 22 rooms within the three-story home, including six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The 13,292 square feet home also has 26 foot high ceilings, hardwood floors, chandeliers, and an antique claw-foot bathtub. The property is “divided into one main residence with 3 apartments, each approximately 1,000 sq ft,” read in the listing on Zillow. The couple’s New Orleans home is near Solange’s home as well as her clothing boutique, Exodus Goods, in the French Quarter. Beyonce and Jay-Z are still currently leasing their home in Los Angeles.
