The Game’s Bold Tweet about Interscope Records Results in a Twitter Ban

Published

Hip-hop artist The Game is on a mission to speak boldly about what he thinks about Interscope Records. Two days ago, The Game launched a grenade at Interscope, comparing their practices to slavery.

“They’re runnin a modern slave trade & they steal from every single artist. The Best decision of my life was parting ways.”

Twitters Response to The Game.

The powers that be weren’t happy about The Game’s assertion. How did they respond? They disabled The Game’s account so those who tried to peep what else he had to say got a rude awakening. Why? The response from Twitter read:

“@thegame’s account is temporarily unavailable because the message violates the Twitter Media Policy.“

The Game is Ramping Up His Message.

This isn’t a new sentiment The Game is sharing. The artist and Interscope clearly have bad blood ties. However, the Game is beyond fed up with their practices. According to the rapper, he’s been sounding the alarm for years.

“I meant it when I said it 17 years ago and  I mean it today.”

But this time, he didn’t mince his words. There’s no hiding his feelings.

“F**** INTERSCOPE.”

This is a hardcore statement. No explanation is needed because we hear him loud in clear. Unfortunately, he can’t come back from that. Despite the ban on the hip-hop artist’s account, people kept receipts. There is no proof he cares one way or the other.

What happened Between The Game and Interscope?

It’s unclear as to what happened, however, he is not the only one who called out Interscope. In 2019, Tory Lanez fired warning shots at the industry giant. His comments read:

“If y’all n***as don’t stop playing w/ me … I’m a expose what’s really going on in the f*****g building!”

The irritation is undeniable. Lanez was seething. One of his fans even attempted to calm him down.

“Chill bro. I ain’t tryna see you killed.”

The Dream’s Purpose.

We know The Dream is pushing for artists to choose another lane. He did so with this hashtag.

“#StayIndependent.”

Based on what we know he has a history, the receipts, and a purpose for his rant against Interscope.

Nevertheless, fans should not worry. The message from Twitter specified the ban on Dream’s account is temporary, so he’ll be back. Will he continue to sound the alarm when he returns? We will have to wait and see. If he does, FM Hip Hop will provide coverage.
