Tory Lanes Retail Suicide 35K All clothes Matter

Tory Lanes recently went on a Twitter rant after he stated he was treated poorly in the Canadian High end Clothing store Holt Renfrew. Lanes tweeted “Its not the fact that we spent 35K in there, we were already going there to do that. It’s the fact that HE didn’t get the percentage”. The Tweets have all since been deleted but Lanes has stood by his statements and even replied to several fans that questioned his logic in completing the purchase instead of walking of the store and spending his money in a establishment that made him feel welcome. Some fans even suggested various ways they would have handled the situation other than making the 35K purchase, suggesting that he should  have had the sales clerk ring up all of the items and then walk out of the store. Many questioned whether it was his busied ego that forced Tory Lanes into buying the items. Lanes posted a video from outside of the store after the incident boasting “I gotta get him. Look at his ass, say hello. Yeah, we balled out your shit. We walked in the store…he ain’t think we was gonna buy nothing. We balled out his shit. We Gucci down. We Louis Vuitton down…”

Lanes later mentioned that the other employee that received commission from the sale was black which seemed to make him feel better about the ordeal. You should never judge a book by its cover, but its not clear on how his “ball out” affected the views of the store clerk that discriminated against him.
