Tory Lanez Music Streams Drop 40% After Megan Thee Stallion Shooting

Tory Lanez music sales are suffering following  his involvement in shooting Megan Thee Stallion

According to Forbes, Tory’s Music sales have declined by 40%.On August 20th, Megan named Tory as her shooter on Instagram Live. According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, during the week of August 21, Tory’s streams declined by nearly 9 million, a 40% drop from the previous week’s 22 million streams.

Tory has since to deny the claim about his streams declining. He took to @HotNewHipHop to share his take on the state of his music streams via Instagram.” Lmao that’s such a lie. 40% where ?!!”, Tory said.

In July, Megan was shot in both of her feet causing her to have surgery to remove bullet fragments. Weeks leading up to revealing the suspect, Megan took to social media sharing her emotions about how the incident traumatized her.

After the beginning stages of recovery, Megan has since performed two virtual concerts, won “Best Hip Hop Video” for her song “Savage” and continues to celebrate the success of  “WAP“, a collaboration with Cardi B.

Since July, Tory has not publically spoken about his involvement in the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
