Tory Lanez Sued Over Hit and Run Incident By Victim Claiming to be Disfigured

Tory Lanez is back in the news again. This time around he’s being sued by a man named Barry Fine, over a hit and run incident that took place in Florida on January 23, 2021. Court documents reveal that the rapper’s 2016 Range Rover was involved in the accident.  Fine is now suing Tory Lanez, claiming that the accident has left him disfigured.

The Accident

The report states that Fine was driving his 2020 Porsche when Tory Lanez’s vehicle caused a chain reaction, sending another vehicle propelling into Fine’s Porsche. The unknown driver of Lanez’s Range Rover then fled the scene. That vehicle was later found abandoned on Interstate 95 in Miami.

Details of Lawsuit

According to the lawsuit, Barry Fine claims that the crash has not only left him disfigured with significant scarring, but with out of pocket expenses as well. Barry Fine also claims to have suffered physical and mental pain. He is suing Tory Lanez for negligence, allowing the  unknown person to drive his vehicle. He is asking for $30,000 in damages. It was reported that Lanez was served the lawsuit at his home in Miami. The rapper’s legal team has not responded to the lawsuit allegations as of yet.

Tory Lanez Previous Legal Issues

Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is already in “hot water”. He was allegedly involved in a shooting that took place on July 12, 2020, in Hollywood Hills. Rapper Megan Thee Stallion, accused Lanez of shooting her twice in the feet after she exited a vehicle during a fight. In November of 2020, Tory Lanez plead not guilty, and was ordered by a judge to stay 100 yards away from Megan Thee Stallion. If found guilty of these charges, Tory Lanez faces up to 22 years in prison.
