Travis Scott has partnered up with A24 for their movie Utopia. The upcoming flick is helmed by the rapper’s production company, Cactus Jack Films. Utopia was first mentioned on the Astroworld artist’s Instagram page. The post was a draft of the film’s script. Ironically, his album will carry the same name. Fans concur that somehow these two new projects will coincide.
At Rolling Loud, Travis Scott was playing a snippet of his song, “Escape Plan.” He’s also collaborated with Baby Keem on “Durag Activity” and Erica Banks for a remix of “Buss It.” Currently, fans are waiting for his and Kanye Wests’ song, “Praise God.”

Travis Scott grew up in Houston and began making music as a teenager. He formed a duo called the Graduates with Chris Holloway, and they released an EP in 2009. The following year, he formed another duo, the Classmates, with OG Chess. Scott produced their two albums, Buddy Rich and Cruis’n USA. After leaving college, Scott moved to Los Angeles and began recording music. He met T.I. and eventually Kanye West. Scott was hired as an in-house producer for GOOD Music, and appeared on the label’s Cruel Summer compilation tape.
