If anyone knows what it’s like to take part in a nightmare that you can’t wake up from, it’s Travis Scott. Scott is being hit with another lawsuit, this time to the tune of $10 Billion.

At this point, Scott is being hit for way more than he’s worth. So, is it fair?

The Proof is in the Pudding.

At least 1,500 concert attendees believe everything coming Scott’s way is more than fair. Because according to HipHop DX, a massive amount of people took their grievances to Brent Coon & Associates. And Coon is showing he is more than happy to oblige. As the source also notes, a hearing is set to take place on Monday, December 13, on behalf of the filers.

Does Scott Stand to Lose?

Brent Coon, the founder of Brent Coon & Associates, believes he has a pretty good case against Scott. Coon’s firm doesn’t merely hold extensive experience in litigation of mass tragedies. Coon proclaims he also has experience with concert promotion. Coon had this to say in a statement

“I also have run a concert promotion company for over 20 years and am very familiar with how you are supposed to plan these events.”

That news surely spells trouble for Scott.

What Does Scott Feel About This?

By now, surely Travis Scott is more than tired of all the jabs. As Hip-Hop DX notes, now almost 2,800 individuals have sought legal action. However, Scott is no featherweight, and he isn’t rolling over. As the source notes, Monday, December 6, Scott filed a motion for at least one of the lawsuits to be thrown out. Additionally, the performance artist sought a “general denial.”

What is a general denial? According to the legal dictionary,

“A general denial is a statement in an answer to a lawsuit or claim by a defendant in a lawsuit, in which the defendant denies everything alleged in the complaint without specifically denying any allegation. ”

Reportedly this will cover 275 lawsuits against him and counting.

Good on him for making moves to protect himself from some of the backlash. There is absolutely zero way that one individual can carry that much responsibility.

However, Scott’s Not the Only One Shouldering the Load

Everybody is getting some action. The fallout is like a never-ending freeway pile-up. Last month, an attorney named Thomas J. Henry filed a $2 billion lawsuit that didn’t only include Travis Scott. According to a source, the filing also included Apple Music, Live Nation, NRG Stadium, and Drake.

Astroworld: A Never-Ending Story

At this point, no one can deny many contributing factors led to this tragedy. By now, the entire world realizes the event lacked proper planning. And we continue to mourn for those who lost their lives and with and those dealing with the loss.

But how far are people taking this?  Everyone is in need of relief.

One thing is certain this is a big life lesson, and indeed Scott is more than educated at this point.
