Trey Songz Probed For Sexual Assault in Las Vegas
Trey Songz is under investigation after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Las Vegas.
Trey Songz faces legal troubles concerning a sexual assault case.
TMZ reports the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating claims against the rapper. The assault took place at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where Songz was celebrating his 37th birthday. The “Bottoms Up” singer and his friends were at Drai’s Nightclub and returned to the hotel with multiple women when the incident occurred.

Trey Songz allegedly assaulted a woman in a Las Vegas hotel.
Back in January, Trey Songz faced another sexual assault allegation in Miami. A Georgia woman, Jane Doe, said, after a New Year’s Eve party in 2018, the artist invited her into a Miami nightclub. She claimed that he had put his hand under her dress, attempting to commit a sexual act without her consent. As a result, she filed a civil suit against the Songz for $10 million.
In addition, Songz reportedly hit a woman with his car after an argument. The woman told police that Songz struck her car just as she got out to confront him. He sped off, hitting her hand in the process. The woman denied medical attention, and the police reported the incident as a hit-and-run.
Also, according to FM Hip Hop, Keke Palmer is not too fond of Songz either. In a 2017 interview, Palmer discussed a time when Songz pressured her to be in a music video, saying he was guilty of “sexual intimidation.” She hid inside a closet to escape being filmed and scolded by Songz. Later, she realized that he and his friends had already taken footage of her without permission. Since their breakup, Palmer claims “I have not spoken to that guy,” and that none of what happened between them was a “misunderstanding.”

According to HipHopDX, Songz is cooperating with the investigation. Sources state that, as of now, there have not been any arrests.
