Trey Songz tests positive for COVID -19 during his album’s release week.
On Monday, Trey took to Instagram to announce his diagnosis to his 12.2 million followers.

“Herewith a very important message to let you know that I tested positive for COVID-19,” he said. “I’ve taken many tests as I’ve been out protesting, food drives, of course, I have a very young son at home, so I get tested periodically and this time unfortunately it came back positive.”
“I will be taking it seriously, I will be self-quarantining,” Trey added. “I will be in my house until I see a negative sign.”
Trey’s diagnosis comes the same week as his highly anticipated album release.

On Friday, Trey’s 8th studio album “Back Home” Is scheduled for release Friday, October 9th. The album includes singles ” Circles” and ” Back Home” featuring Summer Walker.
