Trina Names Cardi B As The Best New Female Rapper In The Last 5 Years
As of lately, we hip-hop fans have gotten a chance to witness the union of female rappers. During a virtual sit down with Fox Soul’s Get Into It with Tami Roman, Trina spoke about her career and who she thinks is positively influencing the hip-hop community in a major way. Fans, however, didn’t necessarily agree with her response. Instead, they listed artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Young M.A, City Girls, and Tierra Whack.

She didn’t consider a music career until she met rapper Trick Daddy, who helped her ascend the charts.
After hitting fame, she shortened her name to “Trina” and appeared on Trick Daddy’s hit single “Nann N***a.”
