True Visionaries Women Empowerment Panel
Just recently, in downtown Atlanta, the Sheraton Hotel was filled to its maximum capacity with a ton of successful, female public figures, local successors, and every type of women in between, as the True Visionaries Women Empowerment Panel, powered by True Vision Media and executive produced by Monica “Dollphace” Floyd hosted its very first, annual women’s panel. True Visionaries put together a serious panel of amazing women, too; high-end fashion designer, Angela Simmons, Ming Lee, Civil Enterprise CEO, Karen Civil, evangelist and author, Jewel Tankard, and of course the great actress/producer herself, Monica “Dollphace” Floyd all gave their own very personal views and opinions on important, global issues of today.
The event was just the perfect way to kick-off the BET Hip-Hop Awards weekend; especially in the hottest city of the dirty south. Hotlanta is always uber turnt. I find myself very proud of these women for being such a strong voice, in a man’s world. I’m actually so proud, that it makes me mad I missed such a dope shindig. But, I’ll probably be ON the panel, as a wise journalist, next year. Aha. Can’t a girl dream? No really, the Empowerment Panel event was awesome and every ear in attendance left with a mind full of new knowledge.
