I’ll tell you one thing about Black Twitter. Whenever it deems a person, place, or event worth a significant amount of attention, praise, and admiration, it will let it be known.

Such is the case for President Joe Biden. In case you missed it, the 46th president officially signed the 1.9 trillion covid relief bill into law. After passing in the Senate with a 49-50 vote, The American Rescue Plan Act is set to administer financial aid to Americans in need amidst the pandemic. Included in the relief plan is $10 billion in funding to support small businesses, an additional $300 per week on unemployment benefits through September, and the highly coveted $1400 stimulus checks to individual citizens.

This good news has social media users jumping joy, expressing their gratitude towards President Biden for getting this done. Amidst the celebration, reports of checks coming have led to Biden hilariously becoming the latest meme crazy on social media. “Moneybagg Joe”, a play off of rap artist Moneybagg Yo’s stage name, has been trending all day on Twitter as users get their jokes off.
