Tyrese Mother In ICU: ‘Worst Phone Call I’ve Ever Gotten’

Yesterday morning via Instagram, singer Tyrese Gibson shared that his mother is currently in a coma. She is in ICU due to complications from the prevalent COVID-19 Virus.

Tyrese has been quite aware of his mother’s health and has been close to her all his life. Being the baby among all of her children, he is referred to as ‘Baby Boy’ by her and his fans. He was on the movie set of his new movie ‘The System,’ when he received word of his mother’s condition and where abouts. He recalls having to ask the director for a break to take a mental breather. Currently, he is saddened but hopeful in the mist of this as he asks for prayers and guidance.

“I’m doing it this time cause I feel helpless this is my cry for help…. I need prayers the most sincere prayers from you prayer warriors…. Hold on mother I’m there by your side in a few days….. God is able to do things, he pulled you Out of a coma before….”

Tyrese is no stranger when it comes to showing emotion. In this case, he is not ashamed to show all of his feelings and his right behind him to support. Various famous people have shown their concerns and support. Music artists such as Ginuwine and Trina are a few.

Looking Forward

Outside of his mother’s condition and his mental state, Tyrese has his fourth studio album and a new movie in the works. It has been five plus years since he has put out music and about two years since he has appeared on the big screen. The movie is set to premier later this year and is rumored to be a very good one. He has been more focused on his acting career in the later years of his life with more serious roles. Also, he could possibly be motivated to be better at them with his mother on his mind.
