Usher is performing in residency in Las Vegas, and according to sources, the show is everything.

Usher began his residency in Las Vegas on Friday, July 16th, a welcome relief for many anxious for life to return to normal post-Covid. According to a source, Usher’s headlining in Vegas is one the first to headline in this post-pandemic period. And he opened his residency to a packed house. Word is Mr. Entertainment kept the audience hyped. Usher unrelentingly performed hit after hit. And he made his mark every time. That is not unexpected because, with Usher, there is no halfway.

Why else would Usher hold the title of the King of R&B?

Usher has been in showbiz since he was 14 years old. He was signed in 1994 by Leface Records, and the rest is history. Raymond is a walking flame with scorching talent. According to a source, his 2004 release of “Confessions” was so hot it sold more than a million copies in the first week. And when it comes to honors, he is decorated. Impressively Raymond has five Grammy’s, Eight Soul Train Music Awards, and seventeen Billboard awards. And that is only a partial list of his awards and accomplishments.

Raymond’s residency is shaping up to be one of the most lit shows of 2021

Then again, only the best of the best performs in Vegas. In fact, a residency in Las Vegas is one of those things which happens in Vegas that does not stay in Vegas. For many securing a residency is an indicator of their star power. And Usher joins some of the most acclaimed musicians and artists in the industry. Las Vegas has welcomed legends; Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, Drake, Bruno Mars, Cher, Elton John, and Aerosmith, to name a few. And now that it is Usher’s turn, Raymond is bringing down the house.

While Raymond has more than enough to brag about, his humility is refreshing.

There is nothing like an artist who gives credit where credit is due. In Usher style, he demonstrated that humility by thanking his fans for their contribution to his success. “Thank you so much for being here. I couldn’t do this without you.”

So mad applause goes out to Big Tyme for doing it up big at his residency. And for all his fans, it’s not too late to catch the King of R&B at “The Colosseum” at Caesar’s Palace. He will be performing until August 14th in a show that promotion promises to be an immersive experience.
