Usher found himself making headlines after a woman’s post went viral.
A woman claimed the R&B legend threw “Usher Bucks” at a strip club in Las Vegas. Usher said this statement is utterly false. In fact, the whole shebang was prompted by his move to Vegas.
“Usher was a true gentleman and a great guest at the club,” Wilson, the club owner, said in a statement to USA TODAY. “He and his crew converted thousands of real dollars to tip the girls dancing on the stage.”
The woman who claimed his money is fake started this fiasco via Instagram. On her Instagram story, she posted a picture of the cash. Unfortunately, it has Usher’s face in the middle instead of Benjamin Franklin.
“Working so hard to get nothing in return! This is a joke!!” she wrote of the incident. “Their job is to entertain. Take your cheap ass back home!!!!!”
After all of the evidence was collected, the dancer took back her statement. She stated she never implied the fake money was the only cash that Usher used. However, the damage was already done. Usher fans have recognized that he’s been posting pictures with the fake bucks online. People have done their diligence roasting him. Usher and his team haven’t made a statement on this issue yet.
