Vince Staples Talks Collab with The Alchemist and Earl Sweatshirt

If you’re a fan of Vince Staples, Earl Sweatshirt, or The Alchemist, you’re very likely a fan of at least one of the other two.  If that’s you, then you’ll love hearing that Vince laid down 30 verses for them for a seemingly upcoming project.

Right before making his self-titled project with Kenny Beats, Vince was amidst getting to work with Alc and Earl.  Alc hit up Vince to come to lay down some tracks but according to Vince, the other two spent most of the time getting high.  Vince, who doesn’t smoke, took the time to run 30 verses for a total of about 10 songs. With Alchemist and Earl’s “cryptic” working pace, Vince moved on to work with Kenny Beats in the meantime.

When Vince revealed all this info on The Ebro Show, Alchemist quickly replied with his side of the story.  And what a good side it is to hear!  Alchemist lovingly calls Vince “full of shit,” claiming that he’s been sitting on a finished 6-track EP with Vince as the only MC on it.  Beyond that, he confirms that he has a huge amount of work featuring both Vince and Earl.  Always good news from the game’s most fruitful producer.

In terms of other upcoming releases from each of the three, Earl is unfortunately silent as always while Vince has his second LP of 2021 coming at some point.  As for Alchemist, he of course has a lot in store for us.  On August 13th, he and Boldy James will be releasing ‘Bo Jackson LP,’ the follow up to their fantastic ‘The Price of Tea in China’ from the previous year.  Additionally, he hinted at an upcoming project with Havoc.  True Alchemist fans know that the combination of him and any Mobb Deep member is lethal.

While we don’t have a date for the collaborations between Vince, Earl, and Alc, we’re mad excited over here.  Whenever it comes, no doubt that we’ll be kept busy for quite some time.
