Vince Staples just dropped the new video “Magic” off his upcoming album, “Ramona Park Broke My Heart.”
Mustard produced the song, and Kenten directed the video. ‘Magic’ was first heard in a Beats by Dre commercial, in which Vince starred alongside tennis star Naomi Osaka. If you ask me, Vince can simply become a professional actor in the future.
Staples Stars In Magic Music Video
As the video kicks off, Vince Staples glides into the convenience store and never seems to stop; it’s kind of like magic! Vince flashes back to what happened earlier as he floats through the party drinking a young woman’s drink, talking to different people until he accidentally bumps someone.
Vince and the guy exchange a few words as Mustard looks on, and Staples is back gliding. As Vince talks to a young woman, the guy he had words with also comes back with a few of his friends, and more words are exchanged. Pushing and shoving turns into Vince getting jumped.
He leaves the party bruised up and manages to walk away, spitting out blood on the way out. It looks like we’ll soon find out how the rest of that night went as “TO BE CONTINUED” pops up at the end of the video.
Denzel Who?
The video is only about 2:30 long, but Vince Staples convinced me that he could land a role in Hollywood one day. After the video dropped, he even declared himself the “new Denzel” on Twitter, referring to the Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington. Although Staples may have a long way before reaching that status, Vince has a significant interest in acting. Last year, he tweeted that he wouldn’t mind being a part of the Marvel Universe. Some fans say the artist would be great in X-Men or even Black Panther. Vince is no stranger to being on film, though, as he has made appearances in “Dope, Insecure” and even his own movie, “PrimaDonna.” We also all know Vince has a unique voice that has enabled him to land acting jobs in “American Dad!” and “Lazor Wulf.”

What To Expect From RPBMH
After hearing the song and watching the video, we also expect Vince’s album to be sort of an uplifter.
It’s probably going to one feel good and smile just like Vince was in this video (before he got into a bit of an altercation).
“I think it’ll put the listener in a good state of mind. The mood of it defines the project”, said Vince Staples regarding the single.
Vince Staples has been pretty busy after dropping Vince Staples in the Summer of last year. He just released his graphic novel, Limbo Beach. He is also an act on Tyler the Creator’s tour and will be at Coachella this year!
