Dreams are common among people worldwide. One of them made it happen by going the distance. Briana Brandy is the woman in question. Who is Briana Brandy? She was originally a hip-hop musician, but she went the distance and became a wrestler in World Wrestling Entertainment. A part of the NXT brand. In 2019, Brandy tried out and joined the company.
She has led a group of four professional wrestlers known as HIT ROW since joining the NXT brand. B-FAB is her ring name in WWE. The NXT North American champion is a member of HIT ROW.
“Seeing Chyna, she was huge,” Brandy said in an interview, referring to wrestling legend Joan Marie Laurer or Chyna. “I wasn’t large and muscular or built like that. But later on, seeing people like Lita and Trish Stratus, and Sasha Banks let me know I could actually do it. The bodies and styles of women in wrestling changed, and they were more athletic-looking like me. That’s when I thought, ‘This is something I could really do.’”
Brandy cements a place in hip-hop history
By the time Brandy was 12, her music reflected influence by Missy Elliot, 2Pac and Mary J. Blige, all of whom allowed her to expand her musical horizons and venture into hip hop. After debuting her hidden talent for songwriting, she expressed her passion for music in her own words, and her love of music took off. With an optimistic outlook and an energetic personality, Briana began performing at local venues at the age of 16. She has collaborated with such hip-hop artists as Soulja Boy, the Ying Yang Twins and Jadakiss. Juicy J has toured with her as well.
