Xyrena Pays Tribute to The Princess of R&B Aaliyah

Celebrities have created fragrances in their name for years from the likes of Mariah Carey to Queen Bey, but a fragrance that will be deemed “timeless” is the new Aaliyah fragrance in honor of the late Princess of R&B.  

Aaliyah’s mother and brother,  Diane and Rashad Haughton have collaborated with Los Angeles-based perfumery Xyrena to create a fragrance that represents beauty, mystery, and creativity all of which Aaliyah strove to incorporate in her life according to her brother. Xyrena goes into detail of some of the ingredients they incorporated in the perform to represent Aaliyah such as: masculine scents which she favored in alignment with her tomboy image, a hue of black which was her favorite color, and hints of vanilla to accent her femininity.

The tribute fragrance can be preordered on Xyrena’s website for $64.00 and is scheduled to ship during mid-October. Five percent of all sales from this release will be donated to The Aaliyah Memorial Fund.
