Arthur Horne, the defense attorney that was said to represent the defense for late Memphis rapper, Young Dolph’s murder suspects, has dropped the case. The news began to circulate that Horne would be representing the suspects. As of late, this is no longer the case.
Horne has been the attorney for Yo Gotti and Blac Youngsta over a long period of time. He defended Youngsta when he was charged with shooting Dolph’s car over a hundred times.
Horne went to Instagram to clear the rumors that he is still working on the case. “After reading a few recent articles, watching a half dozen blogs and skimming through the comments section I’ve learned a sobering fact: Misinformation spreads and sells far faster than the truth. There’s also an old quote that goes: ‘A lie will make it halfway around the world before the truth puts it’s shoes on.'” He responded to a comment that asked if this meant that he won’t be legally representing Justin Johnson and Cornelius Smith, confirming it.
Things are not looking good for them. A week before they were arrested, Johnson and Smith had stolen the getaway vehicle. Now, their lawyer had dropped the case. That is hinting that they do not have a good case to defend themselves with.
Without Arthur Horne, Johnson and Smith are currently without an attorney. It is currently unknown who they are going to get to defend them in court. We will keep you informed as the story develops.
