On June 2nd, news broke of a power coupling of Gotti’s CMG and Interscope Geffen A&M

Gotti is showing himself to be a grandmaster of strategic positioning with a recent decision to partner. Without a doubt, that choice is already proving successful.  The press indicates that under the guidance of the partners’ Money, Bagg’s “Gangster pain” rose to number #1 on the Billboard 200 charts. And given that outcome, it is only up from here!

Sources confirm that artist development is the underpinning of the CMG and Interscope Geffen partnership.

Gotti trusts that Interscope has what it takes to elevate his roster of artists. So in a move to boost his artist roster, Gotti partnered with Interscope. In Gotti’s words.

“We share the same vision about winning – we want to break barriers, disrupt the industry and develop the next generation of superstars.”

And we trust his judgment!

Gotti’s experience shows his strategic prowess.

Gotti has over 30 years of hip-hop industry experience. He began his career as a young hip-hop artist in the ’90s. Amazingly he maintains a presence in the industry. In 2012 Gotti founded the (CMG) Collective Music Group label. And since the label’s beginning, Gotti’s has been working to make CMG one of the greatest labels in the industry. As CMG founder, he’s polished, marketed, and developed talents such Blac Youngsta, BlocBoy JB, Money Bagg Yo, and 42 Dugg. And his talents are not going unrecognized.

Interscope is equally hyped about partnering with CMG

Interscope makes it no secret that they are looking forward to working with Yo Gotti. In a press release, the co-head of Interscope A&R had this to say.

“We’re excited about all the new artists he and his team are developing and can’t wait to get started. Gotti’s decades-long ability to consistently identify the next important wave of talent is very rare in our business,

Undoubtedly this partnership may prove a monster success.  And believe me, they have our full attention.
