Young Thug and Gunna Use Their Wealth to Help Their Community
This is not the first time Young Thug and Gunna have created greatness as a duo. Following their collaborative release of Slime Language 2, the duo visited Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia. They gave back to their community by bailing out 20-30 people with low-level offenses that could not afford it. Upon release, Thug and Gunna promised the incarcerated men and women a home-cooked meal and an opportunity to be in a music video.
“This is where we are from.”
When interviewed, the rappers said that they just wanted to help as many people as they can. The video showed families being reunited following the release of the inmates. The rappers said they plan to do more charitable acts like this in the future.
Fans responded positively, praising Young Thug for his charitability and helping with the issues of injustice for low-level offenders, and overcrowding in jails and prisons.
“This is what giving back to the community really means.💪❤
This is not the first time Young Thug was charitable with his wealth. In 2016, Young Thug donated all proceeds from a sold-out show to Planned Parenthood, later tweeting “I was a teenage parent. [Planned Parenthood] is beautiful.”
