Young Thug Rumor Leaves Fans Disappointed at Atlanta Walmart

Have you heard the news? Young Thug is Bloody Mary now. Go into the dingy bathroom of your local Walmart, lock the door and turn off the lights. Then, if you whisper his name into the mirror three times he’ll appear. At least, that seems to be what people at a local Atlanta Walmart thought. Somehow, someway, a rumor got started that on Tuesday November 30th, Young Thug would appear at Walmart and pay for everything, everyone wanted. Some people are upset that that rumor turned out to be false.

The Generosity of Thug

Over the course of his rap career Thug has proven himself to be an exceptionally generous individual. As he and Gunna explain in their discussion during the REVOLT Summit this year, they feel that giving back to Atlanta is the right thing to do. The city made them and gave them the opportunity to become the rappers they are today. Now, they aim to pay that forward for the next generation. Just one example of this outlook occurred earlier in the year when they paid bail for 30 people at a local Atlanta jail. This is all to say, that it wouldn’t strictly be out of the question for Thug to do something like pay for everyone’s Christmas shopping. Just, maybe check with Thug first?

But not this time

Sadly, dozens of fans filled the local Walmart, but all of them left disappointed. No one knows exactly where this rumor first started, but that didn’t stop anyone from spreading it. Honestly, nobody involved in this situation seems more confused, and heartbroken than Thug himself.

I think it is important to remember here that Thug is a victim himself. It’s not right to outright blame or insinuate him for something completely out of his control. Thankfully, although many people were inconvenienced, nothing went seriously wrong. Just another example of not trusting things you read off the internet.
