Young Thug Ventures Into Acting With Debut in “Throw it Back!”

The word is that Young Thug will soon be testing the waters as an actor in Haddish film, “Throw it Back!”

Tiffany Haddish is co-producing a new film starring Young Thug and Shahadi Wright of film Us. Sources show that Throw it Back is a musical drama. And Thug will portray a character not much unlike himself. The plot centers around a young high school girl, eager to make a name for herself. Surprisingly, the girl, Shahadi Wright, finds a perfect opportunity when a hot Miami rapper (Thug) is shooting a music video and wants to feature the dance team from her school. That is where the drama begins.

Young is not just acting in this film.

Thug is making many contributions. He is also tapped as overseer for the soundtrack. He will serve in that capacity, in addition to executive producing. First gigs are sometimes hard. Jeffery will not be flying solo into his acting debut. Tiffany Haddish will also appear in the film in a support role. So there is no cause for concern. Plus, Thug’s got this. Although this may be his first time acting, he is no stranger to drawing a following. He uses what he has and knows to his every advantage. He has a certain charm, and his fandom proves it. According to a source, he is one of the most significant cultural influencers of current times.

Much of Thug’s influence is due to his ability to reinvent himself.

Jeffery consistently expands into new realms of influence. And he traverses through those different lanes with a flourish. Unbelievably, Thug’s fans do not blink an eye. They champion his boldness. After all, he is the artist that gave us “Stoner” (2014) and then switched it up with features on Gambino’s “This Is America” and Cabello’s “Havana.” And astonishingly, He even managed to secure a fan endorsement from Elton John. He pushes the envelope, and his followers love it whether he is boldly wearing a dress or nothing at all (Barter 6).

With Thugs imprint, Throw it Back will be pretty interesting.

And if anything, it will be worth seeing how Williams manages to traverse into this role, making it his own. Since there are no further details on filming or release, fans will have to anticipate what type of magic Thugger will work this time.
