Yung Baby Tate Overjoyed After She Receives DM from Rihanna
Yung Baby Tate is the latest high-profiled woman facing an onslaught of negativity over a recent photo. The hip-hop artist recently posted up an unfiltered and very real photo. However, the image did not receive the greatest reception. And rather than basking in the afterglow of compliments, she found herself on the defensive for the next few days. But Tate shut the biters down with a quickness, letting them know that she’s not the one. And, of course, she isn’t’ hiding her genuineness. In her words,
“My BODY is MY BODY to work on or NOT!”

Real recognize real
Not everyone is down for the shaming. And quite a few people came to Tate’s defense. But it was one surprising DM that made Yung Baby realize who she has in her corner. Tate was overjoyed after receiving a DM from Rihanna showing her support. “I’m really crying yal. Rihanna just dm’d me” And with the receipts in hand, Tate was sure to let the world know how empowered she was feeling. “Y’all gone be so mad when I link with Savage X Fenty in this bomb ass body of mine.” And given the current sentiments of some, Tate is probably right.
“It pays to be authentic”
It is often hard to be authentic in the industry. Lights are blinding, and people are not always down for real, as many such as Lizzo has found out. Unfortunately, those people aren’t afraid to spew their vitriol, as Yung Baby Tate discovered. But Yung Baby doesn’t cower. And the social media back and forth at times got heated. But, best believe Yung Baby was always quick with the comeback. According to hotnewhiphop, after a nasty exchange within seconds, Tate responded, “Don’t worry bout what a rich bitch like me is eating! Just know it’s Good.”

What Yung Baby has been going through is not uncommon. But what is unusual is when the spotlight shines on those who try to move in authenticity. While not everyone is always down with the real, what really matters is the team you have at your back to support you. Its great to see Tate in high spirits and having fun with the matter. Haters be damned because she’s winning no matter what.
