21 Savage Neglects Freaknik’s Potential Lawsuit Against Him

FreakNik announced on Twitter, they “gonna have to sue” 21 Savage. The rapper dared to celebrate his birthday at the free FreakNik-styled event.

The FreakNik tweet text reads, “Saw @21savage and @megameezy #Freaknik21 last night at @underground_atlanta and looked like a super dope event. Sucks we gonna have to sue them when all we asked that they acknowledged us since it was a free event and they declined”

Savage then responded to FreakNik in the best style possible, offering the group to “sit down somewhere.”

Meezy, the Epic Records manager, suggested changing the Savage’s birthday event name to “Freaqnik” in 2022. He also tweeted an opinion about the whole situation.

“I’m from ATL I know what FreakNik really suppose to be at heart,” Meezy claimed on Twitter. “It wasn’t about charging people it was about a vibe and that FREE vibe brought money into the city for everyone…”

FreakNik Tries to Explain

FreakNik also posted more on Instagram after their tweet. They explained their point of view more thoroughly.

“That event was a smack in our face to all the hard work we put in,” FreaknNik claimed. “We said we will give you license for FREE and was gonna ask to make sure it has a nonprofit presence there. They said no…”

Apparently, Meezy also promised to change the event’s name but never did. I didn’t want this smoke,” the FreakNik spokesperson continued. “Again we said ‘man put on for the city just acknowledge us and we will give you the license FREE.’ Meezy said he would just change the name. He didn’t…”

“Now can we stop everyone who does a themed, concert, party, or sell FreakNik merchandise? YES we can,” FreakNik also proclaimed in the post, “But it would take millions to go after everyone. For the people big enough to make it worthwhile, we could be on some money shakedown ish, but we not even tripping.”
