Missy’s new joint ‘WTF’ (Where They From?) is so dope; and, I’ve only heard 30 seconds of it.
Legendary music artist and producer, Missy Elliott has jumped back in the studio creating, what may be ESPN‘s best official NBA coverage song, WTF (Where They From), featuring Pharrell Williams, who also happens to be quite an industry legend. Elliott sort of teased us during Monday Night Football’s half-time show, releasing a snippet of her new funky fresh record. I mean, she sort of teased us earlier this this year too, making that epic surprise appearance, performing with Katy Perry, during the 2015 Superbowl half-time show.
I think the world’s been thirsty for more of Missy every since. But, luckily for fans she’s back in the lab, probably creating volcanoes and all sorts of other dope-ness, to quench all thirst. While it’s been 3 years since Missy has dropped a new single, I am overjoyed and full of excitement, anxious to see what the creative innovator will pull out of her bag, next. She sort of let us know back in February, with a tweet, that she was hard at work in the studio with Pharrell. But, that was it. Who knew the hard work she spoke of was producing such a jammin’ track? Wait, anyone who’s ever heard a Missy Elliott song should’ve known that.
Missy Elliot to drop New Song ‘WTF’, in it’s entirety, on November 13th. Prepare yourself, it’s about to get hot.

Seriously, the dynamic duo is just so cold when they hit the stage together. Never failing to produce a real hit, Missy Elliott always brings the crowd so much energy, so much funk; and, adding musical-genius Pharrell to a song is just like perfectly placing a star at the top of a Christmas Tree. Its a majestic finish, ya know?
