#FM Trends Drake Drops Care Package

Drake is dropping another emotional album full of throwback songs with Care Package. The album, a 17 song compilation which features exclusively nostalgic hits is a marketing masterpiece from Drake. The renewed availability of songs that for so many years’ listeners had to YouTube to find is sure to send Care Package up the billboard charts and through the platinum ceiling. The organization and magic of turning snippets and singles into an album rewards Drake and Universal income from seemingly nowhere.

Whether it’s Care Package or Take Care, Drake cares a lot about getting us in our feelings. With songs like “The Motion” and “Dreams Money Can Buy” resurfacing after an eight year hiatus, we are all pushed down memory lane. Although the album doesn’t mirror Drake’s progression or his current style, fans are able to relive some of their favorite Drake era’s with songs like “Club Paradise” and “Trust Issues” that were supposed to be on his 2011 project Take Care.

Drake took time on Instagram to address his followers last Thursday (August 1) writing, “Some of our most important moments together available in one place. Care Package.” Drake’s most current works include collaborations with Miami born rapper Rick Ross on songs “Gold Roses”, planned to be on Ross’ upcoming Port of Miami 2, and “Money in the Grave” which featured alongside “Omertà” in Drizzy’s two song The Best In The World Pack.

It’s clear that the Toronto rapper shows no signs of slowing down or dropping off. Especially after complaints to the city of Toronto claiming that the slow Wi-Fi was impacting production for an upcoming album. Drake looks to remain on top of the hip-hop world and with the financial incentive he’s got to drop a new album the goal is attainable. Until then enjoy Care Package, streaming on all platforms.
