Happy Birthday 2Pac, We Miss You!

Tupac Shakur is well known for his authentic voice, even still in the hip hop industry today. His ability to touch so many hearts through his music amplifies how heartbreaking it was for him to have passed at such a young age; as there is still so much to be said about him. With that in mind, let’s celebrate Tupac and his impacts, wishing him a very happy birthday!

With albums like All Eyez On Me, Me Against The World, and 2Pacalypse Now, Tupac touched on the troubles of reality, resonating with so many people throughout the world. With his family history heavily rooted in the social and civil movement of the Black Panthers, he was able to translate those ideologies into his music furthering connecting with, and speaking as a voice for his audience. 

Another classic of Tupac’s is his single “Changes”, as it is still played as a favorite throwback on the radio! The song addresses the importance of making changes to better the future for society. Years later, and these changes still need to be made! 

Tupac’s music continues to speak up for those unable to speak up for themselves, and empowers society as a whole. He’s has truly become an icon and inspiration for not only the hip hop industry, but the world at large. His impact will be felt for generations to come, and his words will continue to touch hearts. Politics is personal, but so are celebrations. So let us say, happy birthday to 2Pac, the man who gave us the courage to speak up!
