DaBaby Looking at Retirement in 5 Years

With his rapping career dating back to 2015 with releases of mixtapes, DaBaby (@dababy) really took off in 2019. Having back to back years with great success which even landed him no. 7 and after no. 1 on the Billboard 200. DaBaby in his career has worked with multiple artists for features while working on his own projects. With Dababy going back to back with two successful years and even dealing with his brother’s passing, his drive hasn’t hindered. He hopes he can even pull this off again for a third year all while building up his label.

While on his wave of accomplishments, Dababy has made time to create his own label so he can give a helping hand to upcoming artists. In a cover story with XXL, DaBaby has mentioned entering retirement in as little as 5 years. With this in mind, he wants to not only focus on making his own music but instead on discovering new artists and elevating them in the industry.

We may have 5 more years left of Dababy but best believe in those 5 years he’s gonna give us his all.
