Romeo Miller sits down with Meredith Vieira
Romeo Miller made his relationship with Toneata Morgan public earlier this year and he has since been receiving alot of backlash because of his interracial relationship. During an appearance on the Meredith Vieira Show, Romeo talked about how he received hate mail and distasteful comments from people and he addressed his view on interracial dating.
“It’s crazy to think in 2015, when I start posting pictures of me and my girl, obviously I’m black, she’s white, you know I didn’t think that would be a problem,” he said. “A lot of hate mail and hate comments was on there — ‘Why are you with this girl?’ ‘She’s only with you because of this.’ And it’s just sad because if anybody know me, and all the girls that I’ve dated, I’ve dated girls as black as Akon as white as Casper, it don’t matter. It’s all about the heart. And in this time and place, she’s the one that captured my heart. She can be blue, green or yellow.”
