Snoop Dogg’s New Albums
Snoop said that he is currently working on the studio project, Algorithm. The record comes out in November and will feature “a lot of big-name acts.”
Snoop Dogg is also currently working on a new album meant for kids and young listeners. Both Snoop Dogg’s projects are for Def Jam, and there is a reason for it.
“Def Jam was the perfect place for me, considering how much I love it and how much it means to hip-hop. And how it really needed somebody like me to change the energy of the building. I’m over there for one reason: to get the music back poppin’ and to make the people feel the way they’re supposed to,” Def Jam’s executive consultant known as Snoop Dogg said.
“I was a fan of Def Jam Records as a kid, and knowing the talent that they have over there and the opportunity that was waiting on me…I wanted to go over there and give a lot of opportunities to the artists over there…To get some information, somewisdom, and some guidance from me and then also develop some new acts and give some opportunity.”
Earlier this year, Snoop already delivered From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites mixtape. The artist’s high productivity is not something that is atypical for him: Algorithm is the rapper’s 19th album.
Snoop is also currently working on a new metaverse project in partnership with “The Sandbox.” If the previous sentence doesn’t make much sense to you, be sure to read up on it. Check out our article on the metaverse and find out more.
