Usher took to Instagram to announce the arrival of second baby with his girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea. The baby boy, whose name is Sire Castrillo Raymond, is the singer’s fourth child. He shares two sons, Usher V and Naviyd, with ex-wife Tameka Foster. The Grammy Award winner posted the first-ever photo of the infant on his page alongside a cute caption.
“Hi my name is Sire Castrello Raymond. I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew. I was born Sept 29 2021 at 6:42pm weighing 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar … A.K.A Ra Ra [Libra Emoji] Gang #demraymondboys.”
It’s a pleasant surprise for fans as the news comes just a few months after Usher announced his Las Vegas residency.
The singer appeared on Good Morning America in early September, where he shared the news. The “Climax” singer will be headlining a series of shows at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. He also “confirmed” the pregnancy rumors for the very first time.
Like any excited dad, Mr. Raymond couldn’t stop gushing about the news. He also shared how his two sons, Usher V, 12, and Naviyd, 11, were excited to meet their new sibling. Rumors of Jenn’s pregnancy began circulating after she was spotted walking beside Raymond in August. Although the music executive’s baby bump was rather pronounced, the couple declined any comments on the matter.
They later broke the news at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in May 2021, where Usher was a host and performer. Ms. Goicoechea wore a black gown which showed off her growing baby bump. The couple later welcomed their first child, Sovereign, in September 2020, sharing a cute photo of the newborn on his Instagram account.
