Lil Baby Was Supposed To Be Featured On Young Thug’s ‘Punk’, Forgot To Send In Feature

Last Friday, Young Thug dropped his highly anticipated project Punk which, to no surprise, received praise from hip-hop heads worldwide. And while the project carried notable features from Drake, J.Cole, Travis Scott,  Future, A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, Gunna, Mac Miller, and Doja Cat, one more artist was meant to be included.

The artist in question is none other than Lil Baby

Lil Baby explained why his verse was missing, saying he forgot to turn it in on time. The rapper was supposed to be on “Bubbly,” according to the Tik-Tok he posted. The Tik-Tok also carries Lil Baby’s verse. Some individuals are assuming that maybe this verse will be on a deluxe version of Punk. That is if Young Thug drops one.

Although Lil Baby missed the deadline, the rappers have collaborated in the past. They’ve partnered up for songs like Bad Bad Bad,” “We Should,” “Right Now,” “Up the Side” with Lil Durk, and 2018’s platinum-certified “Chanel (Go Get It).”

During an interview with The Breakfast Club, Young Thug unveiled that Lil Baby was once signed to his record label YSL, but Thug was dealing with some legal issues at the time.

“I was dealing with a lot of legal shit. The fucking police talking about gang-banging,” Thug explained. “I was dealing with so much shit I’m like, ‘I ain’t bringing him into that. He just got out of prison for the same shit.’ I was like, ‘Man, you know what? Let’s take you to my buddy. Pee a fucking good guy, he got the focus.'”
