In June, Polo G released his third studio album, Hall of Fame. It gave the rapper his first No. 1 project, debuting atop the Billboard 200. A month later, Polo decided to release a separate album titled Hall of Fame 2.0, and now the highly anticipated tracklist is out. The 14-track album will feature Moneybagg Yo, NLE Choppa, Lil Baby, Lil Tjay, and Yungliv. Polo G took to Instagram to share the details, writing:
“A Few More Hall of Fame Inductees Lol. Hof 2.0=No Skips. LMK Which Track U most Excited to hear??? 11 more days…December 3rd.”
Although many fans praised the list, there was one track missing. A rare and mythical Juice WRLD collaboration, which Polo G teased in an interview last year, isn’t listed on the album.
“Do The Most,” a song Juice WRLD collaborated on, was supposed to be included, and it’s unclear what happened to the track. Perhaps it will show up on another Juice WRLD posthumous project. Either way, fans won’t get the fully released song from Polo G’s latest effort.
Polo G’s Confidence
With the reveal of his new album, Polo G has faced criticism. Some say that the rapper’s formula is predictable and obvious, and his music is getting old.
His lack of variety and tendency to lean towards piano-driven beats has often back his true potential. However, the rapper might be speaking right to the critics be revealed a song titled “Piano G” in his Hall of Fame 2.0 tracklist.
He also has a song called “Bad Man (Smooth Criminal)” slated for Hall of Fame 2.0. The track, where Polo G raps over the beat of Michael Jackson’s classic, has been teased before and was just recently released alongside a video.
However, some fans didn’t take the news well, expressing discontent on Twitter that MJ’s estate cleared the use of the sample.
How Polo G got the nerve to remake a Michael Jackson classic?
Regardless of the criticism, Polo G has the utmost confidence in himself. He even declared that himself the hottest in the industry when dealing with leaked tracks via Twitter, writing:
“I’m prolly the hottest rapper in the industry with Leaks rn lol. But fr Tho who behind This Shit,”
