BadBunny (@badbunnypr) teams up with Crocs for a glow-in-the-dark take on the classic Crocs™ Clogs silhouette. The shoe is decorated with several Bad Bunny-themed Jibbitz charms like a fire emoji, a planet, stars, and the rapper’s signature bunny logo. These ornaments reference El Conejo’s sophomore studio album YHLQMDLG (“Yo Hago Lo Que Me Da La Gana” or “I Do Whatever I Want”).
The clogs will “stand out during the day and excite at night with an eye-catching, glow-in-the-dark twist.” –Crocs’ Head of Global Marketing HeidieCooley
CROCS SOLD OUT
The Clogs were made available on Crocs’ website at 12 p.m. EDT on September 29th for $60 USD. Unsurprisingly, they sold out within 15 minutes of their release! The guidelines limited the purchase to a maximum of one pair per buyer. Bad Bunny made the announcement on his Twitter account (@sanbenito).
Several fans were angry at how quickly the shoes sold out and blamed it on bots. Also, they questioned why there weren’t more in-stock to begin with. The shoes can now go up to $400 on resell apps and websites.
Bad Bunny & Crocs
The first time Bad Bunny was seen wearing Crocs was back in February, where he announced the release of his upcoming album on TheTonightShowStarringJimmyFallon.
