New York rapper Benny the Butcher is back with a fiery new single entitled “Timeless”. The track features verses from Lil Wayne and Big Sean. The Griselda rapper announced the single as part of a new project called Burden Of Proof. “Timeless”, along with the rest of the forthcoming project, was produced by legendary songwriter and record producer Hit-Boy.
Upon the release of “Timeless”, Hit-Boy wrote in an Instagram post that the beat was actually created for JAY-Z and Kanye West during the Watch The Throne sessions in 2011. It was turned down by the pair, but was ultimately put to use with new hard-hitting verses from Weezy, Sean, and Benny.
