Chris Brown, aka Breezy, is currently under fire due to a claim of alleged battery.

The LA Police Department recently went public with news of a woman’s claims regarding an assault at the hands of  Chris Brown, aka Breezy. The incident reportedly took place Friday in a LA residence. According to sources, a crime report has been referred to the Los Angeles attorney’s office. Unfortunately, this is not good news for Chris.

This case has all the elements of a comedy skit.

As serious as this may be for Brown, the report reads like something out of an SNL skit. The claimant accuses Brown of hitting her. Yet, not only did he hit her, but he struck her so hard that her weave was displaced.

“she claims he slapped the back of her head so hard that part of her hair weave fell out!”

But, at their arrival, the police did not find any distinguishing bruises or marks showing an injury. And apparently, this altercation was the result of an argument. So, the police are treating the incident as a battery case.

Brown’s (Breezy’s) discovery is an unorthodox one!

Chris Brown’s experience is one where luck, talent, and opportunity coincide. As sources have it, Chris was discovered at a gas station. Within months of his discovery, the world was sampling his talent. He had the right stuff! His freshman album almost immediately rose to number two on the Billboard 200. Brown had undeniable talent. Despite his talent, Brown quickly gained notoriety in the industry for his bad-boy behavior.

In 2009 Brown’s admittance to the physical abuse of then-girlfriend R&B superstar Rihanna was huge. Headlines were exploding as Brown entered a plea of guilty. The news was shocking, and fans rallied behind Rihanna while standing in support of Brown getting the help he needed. But old habits die hard, and reports show that in 2017, Karrueche Tran, his then model girlfriend, was given a restraining order against Chris. And so, it becomes clear that Brown has a history. The record speaks for itself, and that is not in his favor in this case.

In conclusion, at this moment, there is not a definitive battery charge. Brown has yet to respond. Although this incident has comical undertones, there is nothing humorous about the pending charge Brown could face. Our fingers are crossed, but if found guilty, here’s hoping that he gets the much-deserved help he needs.
