After releasing his joint project “Mo Trill” with Cory Mo, Bun B may have another one on the way. The UGK legend spoke with HipHopDX about his latest project but also teased fans about an unreleased joint project with Big K.R.I.T. “I still have another album worth of music that Big K.R.I.T. and I recorded a couple of years ago,” he said. “I’m just trying to stay active. I know Zaytoven and I have some songs. I’m just trying to tap in with friends.”  Hopefully, a tracklist or release date will be announced in the near future.

He also noted that he has an album with Mannie Fresh coming out and some songs with LL Cool J and Dr. Dre. “I’m working on something with Mannie Fresh right now as a full-length album and a couple of other producers. Cool & Dre, we’ve been sitting on some songs. We started a project before the pandemic and it’s just been really up to us to reconnect.”

He added that he is enjoying creating music with friends, though it has not been the same since recording with the late Pimp C.  “…I get to make music with friends and I’m not under any contractual obligation, I make music because I want to not because I have to, so it’s a different experience for me. For me, it just has to be fun or I’m not going to do it. I just don’t want to do it.”

Bun B’s Trill Burgers

Aside from making music, Bun B has his own burger joint called Trill Burgers. Based out of Houston, Texas, he is set to take Trill Burgers nationwide. He mentioned that his burgers will be available at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. He will also take the burgers to the revived Rock The Bell’s Music Festival in Queens on August 6.
