Cardi B and conservative author Candace got into it yet again over Twitter this past Tuesday after Candace Owens’ attacks on her and Megan Thee Stallion’s performance of their hit “WAP” on Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.
On the Tucker Carlson’s Fox show Monday night, Owens used her platform to talk about the two rappers and their sexual Grammy appearance, saying, “This seems like an attack on American values, American traditions, and you’re actually actively trying to make children aspire to things that are grotesque. … We are celebrating perversity in America.”
Cardi then went to Twitter to thank Owens for giving her more views on Fox News. As a response Owens tweeted, I’m one of the few that has the courage to tell you the truth. You should thank me.” She continued, “Millions of young girls follow you. At your best, you are self-deprecating and humorous… At your worst, you are naked, shoving your vagina into another woman’s vagina while thrusting atop her. You were at your worst on the Grammy stage. Do better @iamcardib.”
From there, the argument got ugly and Cardi quickly shared screenshots of a tweet from last year that Owens allegedly wrote about her husband having an affair with her brother.
Owens denied this and said that Cardi fell for a fake screenshot, then threatened to sue her. Cardi has since threatened to sue Owens for the accusation.
