Fans were surprised today when Cardi was missing in action from social media. It is being reported that the artist and newly minted winner of best rap performance deleted all her social media accounts after dealing with social media trolls.

Cardi Incites The Trolls

Of course, fans and trolls expected Cardi B to be front and center at the Grammys. After all, she did receive an award for her single “Up.” But to the dismay of many, she did not attend. As life has it, some people are not satisfied when people act outside their expectations. Cardi was tired of the trolls coming for her, so she dismantled the entire bridge.

Trolls Go In/Cardi Burns Bridges

Some particularly disgruntled fans went in on Cardi for not making an appearance at the Grammys. Not only did they go in on her for her lack of attendance, but also her kids. The star was livid; she wasn’t taking the craziness from anybody. Right after the postings, Cardi took it straight to Social Media.

I’m deleting my Twitter, but On God, I hate this fuckin dumbass fan base. You got the slow dumbasses dragging my kids all-cause y’all though [sic] I was going to the Grammys, and I didn’t the fuck?”

She is right. As a human being, she has the right to make important decisions about her life and not be grilled but go figure.

One More Thing

She didn’t delete her accounts immediately. So Some people tried to get in the last word. They were quick with the clap back. One poster wrote,

“do you kiss your @utistic child with that mouth?”

As if the first responses were not inciting enough, this one took the cake. Her response,

None of my kids are autistic…don’t project wat u got on my kids the f–k. Why would I show up for one nomination? If you bring up my son, I wish the worst on you. I hate you. I never said there was nothing wrong with people who have [autism], but don’t put that on my f****** kid.”

And so now here we are.

No More Social Media For Cardi

As of 3:15 pm, outlets reported that Cardi is now absent from social media. As a source notes,

“The “Invasion of Privacy” rapper’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts can no longer be found.”

Will the artist return to Social Media? Who knows, but she was highly incensed by the comments. So, perhaps after some time cooling off, she will return. But if not, her fans stand behind her either way. One thing Cardi will never be mistaken for is a careless mother. Because, if anything, this little tiff proves that she is passionately fierce regarding her children and music.
