Well, the wait is finally over, Chris Brown’s new album Breezy is getting the final touches and we are breaking down all of the details for you before the long-anticipated release on Friday, June 24.
This album is Brown’s tenth studio drop and first since 2019 when he released Indigo, which debuted on the Billboard 200 and included the hit single, No Guidance featuring Drake. Breezy also partnered with Young Thug in 2020 for the mixtape Slime & B, which gained hype from the fans thanks to Go Crazy.
Chris Brown’s New Album ‘Breezy’ Details
The genre of the album, inspired by his nickname, is R&B and hits the market in two weeks distributed by Chris Brown Entertainment/RCA Records. Brown recently shared the track list for Breezy on his Instagram. Showcasing 23 songs including his current bedroom single, “WE (Warm Embrace).”
One of the biggest questions in fans’ minds is are there any features on the album? To everyone’s delight, Brown teased, back in May, that the following artists will make an appearance on Breezy. Wizkid, Yung Bleu, H.E.R, Lil’ Wayne, Jack Harlow, Tory Lanez, and Ella Mai.
As far as producers and songwriters go, A1 Bentley, VEDO, Ye Ali, Yonni, and Eric Bellinger all contributed to Breezy.
Conclusively, the biggest announcement from the Breezy drop is Brown will be co-headlining a tour together with Lil Baby, titled One of Them Ones. The first stop in Raleigh, North Carolina on Friday, July 15 followed by 27 cities across North America. The final show will take place on August 27 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It’s hard to say if Breezy will live up to the high expectations that come along with a three-year gap between records. However, the blonde hair did reappear, which usually means he’s about to drop fire!
