It looks like Chris Brown‘s alleged rape victim’s claims have crumbled after text messages between them surfaced.
Authorities Discover Alleged Text Messages Between The Two
According to Radar, Miami police reportedly obtained the alleged texts that Brown and Jane Doe, the name she chose to be identified as, wrote to each other and the exchange was steamy.
In the messages sent to the R&B singer on Dec. 31, 2020, Doe allegedly wrote in explicit language and sent naked selfies to him after he allegedly raped her.
Brown reportedly didn’t respond to two of her text messages, which were sent to him later that day, around 11:27 AM (PST) and 4:17 PM (PST).
ICYMI: Brown’s Accuser Claimed He Raped Her On A Yacht
In case you missed it, she accused the superstar of raping her on a yacht that was parked at Diddy’s house in Star Island in Miami in January. She filed a $20 million lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that he gave her a mixed drink and allegedly took advantage of her while she was under the influence. Her suit also alleged that Brown ejaculated inside her and, the following day, demanded that she take a Plan B for obvious reasons.
Doe’s attorneys, Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck, reportedly said that she didn’t report anything about the alleged situation because she was embarrassed.
Vrabeck said he planned “to hold ALL parties accountable so that we might begin to eradicate this behavior from our society. Our client deserves justice. The same justice that all victims of sexual abuse deserve.”
The text messages contradict the woman’s allegations against the singer
However, the alleged text messages between Brown and Doe question her assault claims. As such, the Virginia native has been pursuing legal action against his accuser. He has also been working with the investigation in Miami. Authorities reportedly said that numerous other texts revealed the woman moved to L.A. after her supposed encounter with the 32-year-old and attempted to hook up with him at least four times in 2021.
“Missing u. U were honestly the best I’ve had lol, I just want it again. Why are you playing with meee lol,” she reportedly texted Brown almost nine months after the Miami situation.
Doe has not yet responded about the alleged text messages between her and Brown.
Meanwhile, Brown posted on his Instagram story on Mar.8, saying her story is cap.
“No more dragging me through the mud. CLEARLY, YOU CAN SEE THE [cap emoji]. Now let’s see if the media will keep that same energy they had trying to destroy me, to run the real story. Me and my team are taking legal action on this situation. You don’t play with people’s lives like that. THX TEAM BREEZY.”
