Pharrell Williams adds many new acts, including the iconic 2000s rap duo Clipse, to the lineup of his upcoming festival. Both members Pusha T & No Malice haven’t performed together as Clipse in roughly over 10 years. While the two haven’t released an album together in over a decade, we’ve seen the two come together on Pusha T’s latest album It’s Almost Dry. No Malice appears on the Kanye West & Pharrell produced album’s intense & high-quality outro song I Pray For You. It’ll be exciting to see both of them potentially perform this song & many other collaborations from their extensive discography.
Is A New Clipse Album On The Horizon?
With a recent collaboration & now the duo performing together, it’d be a real treat for fans if we do get at least one more Clipse album in the near future. The two seem to be on good terms & have a solid relationship. Unfortunately, their father passed away earlier this year prior to Pusha T’s album releasing. Maybe both brothers got closer from the experience & began working on music together again (which would explain the No Malice appearance on It’s Almost Dry). If there’s one thing we do know though, it’s that production from Pharrell Williams is almost essential if Clipse does make a big return. After all, would it really be a Clipse album without any influence from The Neptunes?
