DaBaby’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh has been fraught with fights and challenges. On Wednesday, Feb. 9, DaBaby and Brandon Bills, DaniLeigh’s brother, got into an altercation at a bowling alley in Topanga, California.
DaBaby’s Response to Altercation
Paparazzi approached the “ROCKSTAR” artist outside of a party for Kanye West’s upcoming Netflix documentary jeen-yuhs on Friday (Feb. 11). DaBaby explained that the only reason he struck first to fight Bills was self-defense.
“Self-defense,” he calmly said before handing out autographs to the crowd surrounding him. “Shouldn’t run around threatening people.”

A video posted to social media on Thursday (Feb. 10) shows DaBaby flinging a punch at Bills, who has more than once criticized the father of his sister’s child because of alleged mistreatment. As soon as Bills collapses on the floor, DaBaby and his cronies surround him and start punching him.
Bills had visible cuts and bruises on his face following the incident. In addition to taking an impromptu victory lap following the fight, he also attracted the attention of the Los Angeles Police Department, which is investigating DaBaby for possible assault charges.
Security camera footage shows that Corbin Ball immediately banned DaBaby and his entourage as a result of the incident. LAPD is investigating DaBaby for assault with a deadly weapon. As Bill lay on the ground, he received a blow to the head.
As previously stated, DaBaby’s fight with Bills is the latest chapter in his ongoing saga with DaniLeigh. Following an on-off relationship between the two, the singer became pregnant in late 2020 and gave birth to their daughter. DaBaby allegedly was assaulted by DaniLeigh last year, and officers went to his home. As a result of this domestic call, the “Lil Bebe” singer is charged with two counts of assault.
