Tattoo artist Dedrick Devonshay Williams wants Drake to testify at his trial concerning the murder of XXXTentacion.

The rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, got murdered in June 2018 at the age of 20.

Williams was therefore arrested as a suspect and charged to court.

The other three defendants in XXXTENTACION’s murder case are Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, and also Robert Allen.

Dedrick Williams’ defense attorney, Mauricio Padilla, has eventually filed a motion seeking an order of the court for Drake to testify at trial.

“The testimony of the said Aubrey Drake Graham is material to the case, and it is necessary to take the deposition of the said Aubrey Drake Graham to prevent the failure of justice.” Williams’s attorney wrote.

Also, William’s defense based its accusation on Drake’s musical lyrics and his affiliation with other suspects in the murder case.

Past Experience With Celebrities In The Murder Case A Contributory Factor

The difficulties experienced in getting the testimony of another celebrity, Livingston Allen (DJ Akademiks), serve as a lesson. He “failed to appear on October 26, 2022”.

The process server still faced issues serving the podcaster with another subpoena for January 5, 2023, according to the document by Williams’ attorney.

Among the amended witness list in the court documents are some other celebrities, QuavoOffset, and Takeoff, who is also late.

Williams’ defense described them as “high-profile people. And it’s not easy for me to subpoena…Trying to subpoena Drake is not easy — you need a drone,” he added to the document.

More Trends For Drake

Asides from his recent mention by Williams, a suspect in XXXTentacion’s murder case, a video of the OVO Rapper’s arrest in Sweden has surfaced online. He was actually the one who posted the event of mid-2022 on Instagram as he looks forward to 2023.

“…The lyrics are truthful. The suspects are usual….The finish line is beautiful,” he wrote.
