RJAE released the new music video “Like A Ghost,” featuring Stunna Gambino.

“Like A Ghost”

The vintage ILL Views “Like A Ghost” music video perfectly fits RJAE’s and Stunna Gambino’s soulful composition. It would’ve been perfect for release in early fall, which also seems to be the music video’s time of year.

However, the “Like A Ghost” clip seems to be timeless. The visual artwork plays around the various location and, possibly, timelines.

RJAE appears in the dark room. A woman also keeps coming in and out throughout the beginning of the song’s video. The artist then drives in the car with the same woman appearing and disappearing. It seems like RJAE then parked near Stunna Gambino, rapping his verse.

“Having Stunna on the record was major for me because I had been locked into his sound for a while,” RJAE explained in press-release. “To me, he’s one of the hardest out of New York, and his voice and style just fit too perfect for the direction we needed for the record.”

In his verse, Stunna Gambino talks about the past, supposedly sharing the past stories with the loved one. It seems like Stunna’s verse represents some past events in the video.

Being confusing enough already, the video then takes us back to RJAE. He appears throughout multiple locations simultaneously, with the same woman continuously appearing and disappearing.

The carousel of various spaces gives a feeling that the whole clip just consists of RJAE’s memories. The artist reflects on friendships and relationships, which circle through the artwork.

The Sum-Up

The clip is chaotic but romantic and nostalgic. Watching the music video, one might think of own personal relationships and reflect on the past. The atmosphere of cloudy-skied New York in Stunna’s verse adds to the effect.

“Blending our New Orleans and New York styles for this record felt right,” Stunna shared in press-release. “Once I heard RJAE’s verse, I knew I had to go krazy fasho.”
